Rutgers 4x400 relay team logged its best time of the 2014 outdoor season to wrap up NCAA East Region action on Saturday.

Redshirt junior Corey Crawford took second place in the long jump at the NCAA East Regional on Thursday and qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon.

Seven Scarlet Knights will be in action this weekend at the NCAA East Regional with eyes set on qualifying for the NCAA championships in Eugene, Oregon in June.

The Rutgers men s outdoor track and field team is ranked ninth in the final U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Mid-Atlantic Region Poll.

Rutgers closed out the IC4A Championships on Sunday with sophomore Thomas Carr placing sixth in the javelin and the Scarlet Knights 4x800 relay team racing to an eighth place finish.

Rutgers took the top two spots in the long jump, including redshirt junior Corey Crawford taking home the title with a new school record, to highlight Saturday s action at the IC4A Championships.
